Well Podcast listeners today I met, in person, one of the men we all listen to every week, Chris ‘the voice’ Knowles…..on a wet lunch time in Melbourne (which still doesn’t quite match the Australian image I had in my head when I left the UK) we caught up for a coffee and a chat to talk about life & football, the weather & football, the 70’s & football, Australia & football, the A-league…..& football. It was great and must do it again, maybe whilst watching some football………

Well, if chelsea don't win it this year I'll be shocked, from what we've seen so far they should breeze past most of the premiership without any difficulty. Sad to say, but true non the less

Great podcast. Best wishes to Mark on his reunion with Old Trafford.
Although the goal tallies have been a bit absurd, I feel that things will settle down soon enough. Chelsea is very good.....but not THAT good. And Liverpool are in disarray...but not that unnerved. (Although I think Roy has landed the right job at the right club at the wrong time.) Funny how Blackpool's "Hull City early run" lasted exactly one game. Could be a long season for them. They have already crashed out of the Carling Cup.
I was looking at the Championship and League One scores...maybe you should do a segment on "when they were bigger" about clubs that had their time in the sun and then dropped off the radar: Leeds, Charlton (they are terrible now), Crystal Palace, Boro...etc. My beloved Fulham would surely be on that list if it wasn't for "The Great Escape".
Despite the slip-up at the Cottage, Man U look strong. If Berbetov had Rooney's hustle he could be the golden boot winner. Somehow he just looks like he can't be too bothered out there. I'm a big fan of Park, but for my money Nani is one of the most dangerous wingers in the game today - why not start him every game?
Watching the Man City game has only solidified my belief that Joe Hart should be the England #1 keeper. He has proved himself time and time again.
That's all. Hopefully Fulham take Blackpool on the weekend - an away win for us is always something to celebrate.

Don't get so excited Bradley, this season will go against the Norm. 18th Bolton (about time), 19th Wigan (has been a sinking ship since Bruce left) and 20th West Brom (just don't have the players).

glad to have the show back. internet is down at home, so haven't listened to it yet, but i've been missing AGOTH something fierce.

sadly, with work and school and my planning my marriage proposal to my girlfriend, i will not be commenting extensively after each podcast. truly sad, i know :P but bradley from new york is an excellent commenter and far more intelligent and savvy than i'll read his comments in my spare time.

once again, GREAT to have AGOTH back!

any premierleague.com fantasy? i got the oztips invite.
