WC Show 3 :: Week 1 Wrap-Up
So the ball’s too round and vuvuzuelas are too loud and Brazil weren’t pretty, but…Japan secures a first ever WC win on foreign soil, New Zealand its first ever WC point and Switzerland beat raging favourites Spain. How’s that for a start?
Of course, if you are Greek or Australian then there’s probably little that would cheer you up but perhaps a little bit of AGOTH will help.

See, told you South Korea would give Argentina a tough time…..
If only SK had taken that chance at 2-1 to go 2-2 but really Argentina looking good.
The USA won that game. The goal disallowed was complete RUBBISH! (I’m toning it down for the children who read this podcast forum). Utter, utter rubbish.
While I’m at it, the Klose Red Card was also rubbish. What happened to the quality officiating in this world cup?
Now we need either help from England….or a complete English meltdown. Robert Greene in goal……..?
There you go, a scoreless draw that means if the US can do what England couldn’t and beat Algeria, you’re through. And at this rate, it’ll probalby be along with Slovenia.
And yes, perhaps we shouldn’t have mentioned the officiating becuase Mr Spanish Ref in the Serbia / Germany game was abysmal.
